kids in weddings

Occasionally, during some weddings I let my background in photojournalism take over. Call it my instincts or my gut, sometimes, my camera just finds kids being kids, for example. All shot in a photojournalistic manor, these photographs - shot at a family’s home and in a church - display what I believe are some of the most important, and often missed moments in a wedding. They are the stories that make up the day. After months of planning, often, the day often goes by in a blur. I love capturing all the “did you see that’s!?” In the second photo, I was able to catch the personality explosion from this one young girl. To me, it looks like she just told the funniest joke in the whole world. I absolutely love these types of shots, and it’s another reason why having a professional on sight is essential.
